Learning Assistants (LAs) are peers that serve to facilitate collaborative active learning exercises both in class and during out-of-class problem solving sessions. Learning Assistants work as a team with the faculty to help solidify student learning. See your course’s Canvas page for LA office hours.

IST Peer Tutoring Program – College of Information Sciences and Technology -The IST Peer Tutoring Program is a centralized academic support resource for students in the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State.

Physics Assistance Resource Center
The Physics Assistance Resource Center, located in 215 Osmond Lab, has walk-in hours available to students in PHYS 211, 212, 213, 214, 250, and 251. Its operating hours and course specific help sessions are posted in the CANVAS course for each physics class.

The Ryan Family Student Center provides writing, math, and physics tutoring through the College of Earth and Mineral Science.
