WCOnline How-To

Multilingual tutoring specialists and in-person writing appointments are unavailable during our summer months. However, these programs will resume in early September when classes start. Please note that our on-duty summer tutors can absolutely still assist multilingual and ESL writers! If you have questions about this, please contact Dr. Karen-Elizabeth Moroski.

We do, however, have online writing appointments available all summer on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Below, you'll find instructions for how to make a WCOnline Account, and also how to schedule appointments in WCOnline.

Remember: WCOnline is only for appointment sessions! If you'd like to come to our drop-in hours, you can find us in the 220 Boucke (Summer hours: M-R, 12-5).

Making a WCOnline Account

1. When you first visit WConline, you'll be asked to make an account. This is easy!
2. You'll just be asked to provide basic information: Name, Contact Info, etc.
3. Once you've made an account, you can move on to the scheduler.

Scheduling a WCOnline Appointment

1. When you log into WCOnline, near the top of the page there is a drop-down menu. See it?
2. Click the drop-down menu, and select one of the following options:

  • Multilingual Tutoring
  • Online Writing Tutoring Appointments
  • Writing Appointment Tutoring (Boucke)*

3. You'll see a screen with purple and white lines/boxes.
(Those white boxes are open appointment slots. The green boxes are times already claimed by someone else.)
4. Click on a white box to make an appointment.
5. You'll be asked for information about the help you're seeking -- what class, what assignment, your contact information, etc.
6. Once you submit the intake form, you'll receive a confirmation email.

*This option is for face-to-face tutoring during our appointment hours in 220 Boucke!

If you have trouble scheduling an appointment, contact Dr. Moroski at kxm5044@psu.edu or 814-865-0259.
