Kaitlin Quigley
Guided Study Groups Program Coordinator

As the Co-Curricular Programs Coordinator for Guided Study Groups, Kaitlin Quigley works collaboratively with the Scholar in Residence for Learning Communities and others within Penn State Learning to provide day-to-day oversight of the Guided Study Groups program. She helps to supervise 25+ leaders in over 65 weekly study and review sessions each semester.

Having spent 5 years working as a mentor and tutor for student-athletes at Penn State's Morgan Academic Center, Kaitlin brings a wealth of student academic support experience with her to Penn State Learning. Most recently, Kaitlin served as an Academic Success Specialist at Western New England University. In that role, she oversaw the Supplemental Instruction and Peer Tutoring programs and worked one-on-one with at-risk students to hone their academic skills.

Kaitlin's scholarship focuses on higher education law, particularly the First Amendment and student speech. Her dissertation explored the legal issues arising from students' online speech. In addition to student success and higher education law, Kaitlin is also interested in the development of academic leadership skills. She served as the Coordinator of Programming for Penn State's Academic Leadership Academy from 2012 until 2016.

Kaitlin holds a B.A. in political science from Penn State and an M.S. in higher education from Marywood University. In 2017, Kaitlin earned her Ph.D. in higher education from Penn State.
